Radical People

Radical People Look To Make Christ Known

How? They Make Drastic Changes In Life

The greatest carpenter in the world can't fix a broken house, unless the owner lets the carpenter inside!

1. Radical People Higher Radical Architects...
        John 1:40-42
STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO REMAIN THE SAME
John 5:3, 6-8 (the impotent man said: There is nobody to put me in the water)
          a. Look for people wanting to get better!
          b. Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional!
          c. Radical People Have Always Changed the World!
                  1. It was Radical People in the Bible that Made Christ Known!
          e. Christ is looking for Radical Christians Once Again!

2. Radical People Don't Fear Being Renovated... They don't fear change!
          a. STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO FEAR UPGRADING
          b. STAY AWAY FROM DISTRACTIONS DURING RENOVATION

3. Radical People Don't Fear Sinking...
Matt.14:28 (Peter said: Tell me to come, and I will...)
STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO FEAR SINKING
          a. Sinking in life is inevitable, but staying in the boat is optional
          b. Do not be afraid to try something new

4. Radical People Look to Make Others Radical For Christ
Mark 2:4 (they cut through the roof while Jesus was preaching)

5. Radical People Look to Make the Architect Known...
John 4:29 (come see a man)
          a. Radical Christians are unafraid to share the radical message of Christ!

UNFINISHED!

Before Saying I Do, You Better Know You

                                          Scripture: 1Corinthians 7:7

The most expensive purchase in life is not a house or a car, but who you marry.

1. YOUR "SINGLENESS" IS A GIFT!

So...Enjoy Your Singleness...
God has a purpose for your single season. Paul is enthused about singleness!
    a. Paul is not saying everyone has the gift to be "celibate"
    b. Paul acknowledged that the celibate could be single,
but that the single could not necessarily be celibate.

    Before saying I do...
2. YOU HAVE TO DISCOVER YOU FIRST!
Most people don't know who they're, for they're too busy trying to know other people
Most people will not stay single "long enough" to know "WHO" God has for them

    Before saying I do...
3. DID THE OTHER PERSON PROSPER IN THEIR SINGLENESS?!
What have they accomplished in their single days?

    Before saying I do...
4. THE PERSON YOU MARRY HAS TO BE COMPATIBLE TO YOUR CALLING!
  a. Do they complement your calling? Do they fit your gifting?
  b. If there's no compatibility, they will compete with you
  c. Your assignment has been given to "him" or "her" too
        (their "calling" will complement yours)

Mistake...
5. DON'T SPEND YEARS TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE COMPATIBLE
  a. Your calling requires a whole new set of friends
  b. Be aware of who you still have hanging around you in your purpose

The person you meet before you discover your calling
is not always the person you need for your calling!

The person you need for your calling will be far different
than the person you met before your calling!

WHAT TO DO WHILE SINGLE?
Honor your single season! How?
  a. "SINGLE" DOES NOT MEAN  TO "MINGLE!"
  b. Get to know God!
  c. Discover you!
  d. Start praying for your "future" spouse!
  e. Get moving in your calling!
  f.  Prepare you, for who God is preparing for you!

IF YOU HONOR YOUR SINGLE SEASON
  a. GOD WILL NOT "SEND" YOU A LOSER
  b. Ask God to block the wrong person!
